Growing up on a peanut and cotton farm near Florala, Alabama, in rural Covington County, Wes Laird learned the meaning of hard work, and doing things the right way. Wes Laird served as the President of the organizing group to form Southern Independent Bank, a community bank now boasting $200 million in assets.

Singer Songwriter

Wes has co-produced three extended play albums along with former Hank Jr. band leader Lamar Morris. He now regularly performs both solo and as part of Doctors, Lawyers, and Editor Chiefs. Wes has written over a hundred songs about life, about love, and about laughter.
